How to have it all- Eat it & beat it!

I get it, not everyone wants to drink green juice, run 2.53637272 miles everyday, and eat healthy low-calorie things all the time. Duh, no one really wants to do that all of the time!

I especially do not eat like a victoria’s secret model 24-7. Actually, most of the time I eat whatever I want & a little too much of it- oops. One thing I do make sure I do is not freak out about it and make eating too much sugar & sodium the end all be all because it’s not!

I eat pizza, ice cream, chili, cheese, corn bread, candy, sweet coffee drinks, soda, all the works! I enjoy junk foods, trust me. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO NOTE IS MODERATION.

When you begin to eat a little bit of everything & make sure you get in all your necessary nutrients (veggies, vitamins, water) at the same time your body will then be able to snap back into shape more quickly and you will barely even notice a drag (we are basically hacking the body system).

One thing I love to do is mix up my food so that it isn’t completely lacking nutrients. For an example, I will pack avocado & lemon juice on my pizza and drink a green juice with my sweet coffee… I think of my diet like a teeter totter (B A L A N C E D !).

I find life much more enjoyable when I can have a cheat meal to satisfy my mind & do not feel like crap afterwards so I make sure I find a way to avoid that horid “crash”. I am sure I’m not the only one feeling this way? So let’s share tips!

Life is short you guys and REALLY not to be taken so serious, if you want a cookie eat a damn cookie & also go get the workout in that you have been procrastinating on. Have it all, make it happen! I’m so done with the procrasination funk, soooo over it!

A few things I could NEVER live without no matter how my diet is going:

(these are my go-to feel good foods. These compliment my bad habits and yay for that!)

 Apple Cider Vinegar 

  • Reduces bloating (UM YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
  • Increases the benefits of vitamins and minerals in your food
  • It cancels out some of the carbs you eat (Genie in a bottle much?)
  • Softens your energy crash after eating a lot of sugar & carbs
  • Keeps you fuller longer
  • It can help your muscles produce energy more efficiently for a big workout
  • Balances your body’s pH levels
  • Rids of bad breath

Lemon & Lime

  • Aids digestion
  • Gives immune system a boost
  • Keeps skin clear

Greek Yogurt

  • Great source of calcium
  • High amounts of protein
  • Probiotic
  • Great for pre or post workout or the BEST breakfast


  • Speeds metabolism
  • Sharpens focus
  • (Many pros and cons- I suggest researching yourself. Personally, I drink it everyday!)

 We all have our favorite, can’t-live-with-out-food & drink we have everyday so what is yours?
