The Feel Good Frenzy

Hey, what’s up, hello!

FEELING SO MUCH BETTER.

That awful cold I caught last week is finally kicked out of my system.

As you may have read in a previous post, or maybe not, I have been out of the gym for about 2 weeks. Not because of an injury or because i’m over it, I did it because I was trying a new form of exercise through yoga and I am so glad I did because the benefits on my body have been incredible. I’m feeling more flexible, breathing/meditative methods are stronger, and I have built so much core strength.

Flexibility is a huge part of being healthy along with meditating. The more flexible you are the better you can avoid injury and the more you meditate the easier it is to let negative things gooooo.

Core strength is needed for almost every movement you make and especially for lifting weights. So thank you yoga, I do not plan on stopping anytime soon!

HOWEVER, today since my cold has been so much better I decided to hit the gym and give it my all. & you guys, I AM STILL ON A HIGH. I truly haven’t felt this good in months.

The mix of my new health, flexibility, core strength, and breathing techniques made for the greatest workout and I have never felt better!

I did a mix of upper-body and lower body for all over blood flow and my mind was soooo clear.

Taking a break from something is sometimes needed and once you go back it reminds you why it’s so important to you. Distance makes the heart grow fonder, right?

FIGURE OUT WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD!

Once you figure out what kind of exercise you love to do you will be able to become dedicated. When you find out what works for you stick to it. What works for me wont always work for you. So If I could recommend doing anything it would be to try everything!! Even if cleaning the house is your favorite exercise, dooooo it! Get off your booty and feel good.

Remember to rest– recharging the batts is super important! Find your meditative spot and focus on your breathing once in a while, a clear mind is where the best ideas and answers come from.

Once you find what works for you, you’ll become more in tune of who you and I believe that is where you can find happiness.

When you are happy, you are good to others around you, and especially yourself.
