I know I have made a post on breakfast and lunch but DINNER is a must.
I thought I would share my go-to easy dinners that will make everyone in the house happy & satisfied.
I am all about EASY & HEALTHY.
I am also very much into being balanced versus psycho obsessed & only eat certain foods and nothing else. I don’t freak out about every ingredient, I just make sure my meals are as nutritious as possible and pay attention to how I feel afterwards.
Lately it has been turkey or steak tacos or breakfast style potatoes mixed with turkey or steak.
Meat, one side, viola.
Easy, 1.2.3, done.
Tacos are great because ground turkey is so quick to cook.
I use any lean ground turkey & season with Lawry’s seasoned salt, garlic powder, oregano, ground pepper and cook with olive oil–basically anything you have in the cabinet at the time! Done in 5-10 mins depending on how much you make.
I serve on a low carb tortilla dressed with avocado, Himalayan sea salt, pico- de Gallo & cilantro.
Lately my roomies and I have been on a breakfast potato kick. Why? Because potatoes are cheap, delicious, and packed with nutrition!
We slice them up into small pieces and cook with olive oil, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder, celery salt, and a 1/2 of an onion (chopped). Cook for about 20 minutes or less (depending on how much you make). These potatoes are best with steak for a protein compliment. I also recommend pairing this meal with a vegetable such as green beans or a salad.
Lately It’s about simple, yummy and packed with nutrients– you know, food that makes you feel good afterwards. To be real, I don’t have the time or the money to make something elaborate every night. I have a very busy schedule between work and school so easy din’s are right up my alley!
Can’t you tell I am all about protein and carbs!?! 😂
